This training session will provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to access, import, and prepare EHESO microdata for analysis using R. The session is divided into two modules to cover both API usage for microdata access and essential data preparation techniques.

Module 1: Understanding and Accessing EHESO Microdata
- An Overview of the Data Structure
Participants will gain insights into the structure of EHESO microdata, helping them to select the most relevant data for their analysis needs.
- Options for Importing Data into R
- CSV Import: Learn how to import data via previously exported CSV files.
- API Import: Understand how to access data directly through the API.
- Comparison of Methods: Explore the pros, cons, and practical considerations for each import method, including differences in data manipulation.
Module 2: Data Preparation and Practical Applications
- Data Preparation in R
This module will guide participants through essential data manipulation steps to prepare EHESO microdata for analysis, customized to specific user needs.
- Examples from the ETER Project Hands-on examples will be provided, with exercises replicating analyses performed in previous ETER project studies, allowing participants to practice and solidify their skills.
